Caroline and Noah’s wedding at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort combined ocean views, a relaxed rooftop ceremony and a lively ballroom celebration. They held their first look beside the pool before exchanging vows on an outdoor terrace overlooking Hollywood Beach.
I photographed and filmed their full celebration, from the quiet preparations in their separate rooms to the cold-spark first dance and packed dance floor later that evening.
Watch Caroline & Noah’s Wedding Film
Photography preserved the expressions, portraits and thoughtful details of Caroline and Noah’s wedding. Their film adds the vows, voices, movement and atmosphere surrounding those moments.
Couples who want both parts of their story preserved can explore our wedding photography and filmmaking collections.
Getting Ready at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort
Caroline and Noah both prepared at the resort, which meant the morning could unfold without travel between different locations.
Noah began the day with his closest friends and family. His black tuxedo included a patterned vest, bow tie and white boutonniere. After a little help with the final details, we created portraits in his room before photographing the group together.
Caroline prepared separately with the people closest to her. Her fitted wedding gown featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, lace detailing and a long train. She completed the look with a flowing veil, delicate jewelry and a cascading bouquet of white flowers.
The resort’s ocean-inspired artwork and colorful carpeting gave the detail photographs a subtle connection to the beach setting. We photographed the dress, rings, shoes, invitation and bouquet before Caroline stepped into her gown.
These early parts of the day provided a balance of carefully arranged details and unscripted interactions. That combination is central to my relaxed approach to wedding photography.
An Oceanfront First Look
Caroline and Noah chose to see one another before the ceremony. Their first look took place on an outdoor pool deck, with the resort and bright blue seating surrounding them.
Noah waited while Caroline approached from behind. His reaction immediately changed the atmosphere from nervous anticipation to excitement, and the two of them had a few quiet minutes together before the wedding party joined them.
Holding the first look early also gave us time for portraits without taking the couple away from their guests later. We moved to the edge of the pool deck, where the glass railing opened toward the ocean.
The water, sky and pool created layers of blue around the couple. Caroline’s white gown stood out cleanly against the color, while Noah’s dark tuxedo provided a strong contrast.
We kept the portraits varied and comfortable, using simple movement and light direction rather than holding the couple in rigid poses. Caroline and Noah walked, talked and laughed together while we photographed the interactions between them.
Poolside Portraits Overlooking Hollywood Beach
One of the most distinctive portrait locations was the narrow terrace beside the pool. From this spot, Caroline and Noah had uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean behind them.
The breeze added natural movement to Caroline’s train and veil. Instead of trying to control every part of it, we used the wind to create photographs that felt connected to the coastal setting.
Along with wide photographs showing the pool and ocean, we created closer portraits that focused on Caroline and Noah’s expressions. This gave their gallery a mix of strong location images and more intimate moments.

Wedding-Party and Family Photographs
Caroline and Noah’s wedding party wore a classic combination of dark suits and deep blue dresses. Their colors worked well with the resort’s coastal surroundings without matching them too closely.
Before the ceremony, we photographed immediate family members and the different wedding-party groups. Completing these portraits early allowed everyone to enjoy more of cocktail hour after the vows.
We included both traditional group photographs and less formal interactions. The relaxed images between the planned groupings helped show the relationships and personalities within the wedding party.

A Rooftop Ceremony Overlooking the Ocean
The ceremony took place on an outdoor terrace overlooking the water. White chairs faced a fabric-draped arch decorated with white flowers and greenery.
String lights crossed above the seating, while the ocean remained visible behind the ceremony structure. The neutral flowers and draping kept the design light and allowed the waterfront setting to remain part of the view.
Caroline entered with a loved one beside her, carrying her cascading bouquet as her long veil moved behind her. Noah waited beneath the arch with the officiant and wedding party.
The ceremony included personal vows, a ring exchange and a unity ritual. Photographing from several angles allowed us to preserve their expressions along with the reactions of family and friends seated around them.
After their first kiss, Caroline and Noah walked back down the aisle as a married couple while their guests celebrated.
Cocktails and the Start of the Reception
Following the ceremony, guests gathered at the resort while the ballroom received its final preparations. Caroline and Noah had time to greet people, enjoy the beginning of the celebration and take a few additional photographs.
The reception ballroom continued the classic style of the wedding. Round tables were dressed in white, with floral centerpieces, candles and soft blue accent lighting throughout the room.
A personalized monogram featuring Caroline and Noah’s names was projected above the dance floor. Their sweetheart table was decorated with flowers, while a white tiered cake with pale floral details stood nearby.

A Cold-Spark First Dance
Caroline and Noah made their entrance before moving into their first dance. Cold sparks appeared behind them as they turned, dipped and moved across the ballroom floor.
The effect added drama without taking attention away from the couple. Their reactions remained the strongest part of the photographs, especially when they laughed together between the more polished moments.
Parent dances followed, creating a quieter part of the reception before dinner and speeches. Friends and family then shared stories, bringing plenty of laughter and emotional responses from the couple.
Their wedding film preserves the movement and voices behind these moments. You can read more about cinematic coverage for South Florida celebrations.
Cake Cutting and a Full Dance Floor
Later in the evening, Caroline and Noah cut their white wedding cake together. They shared a bite before returning to the ballroom for the rest of the party.
Once the dance floor opened, guests filled it quickly. Light-up foam sticks added color and movement while friends and family surrounded the couple.
Caroline and Noah stayed in the middle of the celebration, dancing and enjoying the evening rather than treating the reception as a list of formalities. The later photographs show the energy building as more guests joined them.
That lively finish created a strong contrast with the peaceful oceanfront portraits from earlier in the day and completed the story of their wedding.
Planning a Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Wedding?
Caroline and Noah’s celebration showed the variety available within one resort. They prepared onsite, shared a poolside first look, created portraits overlooking the ocean, held their ceremony outside and finished with an indoor ballroom reception.
Keeping everything at one location reduced travel and gave them more time with their guests. Their early first look also provided room in the timeline for couple, family and wedding-party portraits before the ceremony began.
