Wedding Photos at Lavan Venue | Westana & Binup

Wedding photo gallery is available at the bottom of the article.

Westana and Binup’s wedding brought together elegant details, meaningful traditions and one seriously energetic celebration at Lavan Venue. From their emotional first look and outdoor portraits to a packed reception dance floor, their day gave us so many genuine moments to preserve through photography and film.

The entire celebration felt personal to them. Their clothing, ceremony details, family traditions and reception entrances all reflected the joining of two families. As the day moved from quiet preparations into a lively ballroom party, the atmosphere never stopped feeling warm and joyful.

Watch Westana & Binup’s Wedding Film

Photographing a wedding preserves individual expressions and carefully designed details. Film adds the voices, movement and sound that bring those memories back in a completely different way. Providing both allowed me to tell Westana and Binup’s story from several perspectives while keeping the experience cohesive.

Couples interested in that kind of coverage can learn more about our combined wedding photography and videography services.

A Relaxed Morning with the Wedding Party

Westana began the day in a bright suite surrounded by her bridesmaids. The group wore coordinating dark getting-ready outfits while Westana stood out in white. Between hair, makeup and the final preparations, the room was filled with the kind of candid interactions that make the beginning of a wedding gallery feel personal.

Her wedding dress featured a fitted silhouette, a structured corset-inspired bodice and delicate straps. She completed the look with a long veil that became especially beautiful once we moved outdoors. Her henna added another intricate element, particularly in close photographs of her hands, jewelry and ring.

Binup prepared with his closest people nearby. He wore a black formal outfit with ornate gold detailing at the collar and cuffs. The dark fabric and embroidery photographed beautifully, and the look felt both distinctive and perfectly suited to the elegance of the celebration.

These slower parts of the morning gave everyone time to settle into the day before the ceremony began. They also allowed us to photograph the smaller elements alongside the unscripted reactions happening around them.

Westana and Binup’s First Look

Westana and Binup chose to see one another before the ceremony. Their first look took place outside, giving them a few private minutes together before joining their wedding party and guests.

Binup’s reaction brought an immediate sense of warmth to the moment. Once the anticipation passed, the two of them relaxed quickly, which made the portraits that followed feel natural rather than overly posed.

We explored the surrounding greenery for their couple’s photographs, using the open lawn, tall trees and palms as a soft contrast to their formal attire. Westana’s veil moved beautifully in the breeze, adding motion without distracting from the connection between them.

Along with classic portraits, we made room for playfulness. Westana and Binup walked, spun and laughed together, creating photographs that looked polished while still feeling recognizably like them. That balance is central to my candid and gently directed photography approach.

A Ceremony Beneath the Clear Roof

The ceremony took place beneath a clear-roofed structure surrounded by natural light. Transparent chairs kept the space feeling open, while white flowers, greenery and candlelight brought softness to the setting.

A glossy black aisle led toward a lush floral backdrop. Its clean lines created a dramatic visual path through the ceremony space, especially as Westana made her entrance with a loved one beside her.

Binup waited at the front in his black-and-gold attire. Their expressions as they saw one another from opposite ends of the aisle were among the most meaningful photographs of the day.

Live music helped shape the atmosphere as the ceremony unfolded. Westana and Binup exchanged vows and rings beneath the flowers before sharing their first kiss as a married couple. Their recessional was joyful and immediate, with both of them smiling as they walked back through their guests together.

Those words, reactions and small movements are also central to wedding films shaped by real sound and emotion.

Wedding-Party Portraits Filled with Personality

Westana’s bridesmaids wore neutral, champagne-toned dresses that coordinated beautifully without competing with her gown. Binup’s side of the wedding party wore dark formal attire, creating a clean and timeless combination in the group photographs.

We photographed the full wedding party along with smaller groups, immediate family and individual portraits. The formal photographs gave everyone the images they expected, but we also kept the energy loose enough for personalities and friendships to come through.

The resulting gallery includes both composed portraits and plenty of laughter between them—an important mix for telling the complete story of the people who shared the day with Westana and Binup.

An Elegant Lavan Venue Reception

Inside Lavan Venue, the celebration shifted into a bright ballroom filled with chandeliers, white draping and soft purple uplighting. The reception design continued the white-and-green palette from the ceremony while introducing black, gold and mirrored accents.

Tall floral arrangements added height to the guest tables, while candles created a warm glow throughout the room. A large monogram personalized the dance floor, tying the space directly to Westana and Binup.

Their sweetheart table was framed by layers of white flowers and greenery. A mirrored gold table, candlelight and floral backdrops made the area an ideal setting for reception portraits before guests entered.

A Multicultural Grand Entrance

The reception entrance celebrated the backgrounds and traditions coming together through Westana and Binup’s marriage. Members of the wedding party entered carrying flags representing both families, and the energy continued as guests gathered around the dance floor.

Westana and Binup made their own entrance waving flags and moving straight into the celebration. It was colorful, expressive and full of movement—the kind of moment that works especially well across both photographs and film.

Instead of feeling like a transition between dinner and dancing, their entrance became an important part of the story. It showed how much the day was shaped by the families, communities and traditions surrounding them.

Dancing in the Clouds

For their first dance, low fog covered the floor and created the appearance of Westana and Binup dancing on clouds. The effect softened the ballroom while keeping all the attention on the two of them.

Cold sparks added another dramatic layer as they moved across the floor. Even with the larger visual elements, the strongest moments remained their expressions—the smiles, eye contact and brief exchanges that happened while everyone watched.

Family dances and speeches followed, bringing another round of laughter and emotional reactions. These parts of the reception gave us a chance to document not only the scheduled events but also the responses happening at the surrounding tables.

A Sweet Ending and a Full Dance Floor

Westana and Binup chose a tall cupcake display with a small white cake at the top. Greenery and white floral accents connected the dessert table to the rest of the reception design.

After cutting the cake and sharing a bite, they returned to a dance floor that stayed busy for the remainder of the celebration. Guests danced together, waved flags and surrounded the couple throughout the night.

The reception closed the story exactly as it should have: with Westana and Binup in the middle of their favorite people, enjoying the celebration they had worked so hard to create.
