The visual style was polished without feeling overly formal. Sage green dresses, blue suits, white flowers and soft greenery suited the coastal setting, while the people brought all the warmth, laughter and movement. Ocean-View Wedding Preparations
Tina began the day in a bright resort room overlooking the water. Her details were arranged together before the pace picked up: lace, white heels, rings, perfume, an ivory bouquet and small blush ring boxes marked with the couple’s initials. Those quieter photographs give the gallery a gentle opening and preserve the choices that can easily disappear once everyone starts getting ready.
The room soon filled with Tina’s bridesmaids, who wore deep sage satin while they toasted and helped one another prepare. Tina’s fitted lace gown and long veil added an elegant contrast to the relaxed mood in the suite. Some of the most meaningful photographs came as loved ones helped with the final buttons, jewellery and finishing touches by the window.
Steve prepared elsewhere in the resort with his groomsmen. He wore a bright blue suit with a pale tie and read a handwritten note before opening a watch box and fastening the watch to his wrist. The men’s portraits in the warm interior of the resort brought a completely different look to the morning while still connecting naturally to the blue and green palette used throughout the wedding.
A Private First Look by the Beach
Before the ceremony, Tina and Steve met beneath the coastal trees for a first look. Tina approached along the sandy path and tapped Steve on the shoulder, giving them a few quiet minutes together before joining their wedding party and guests.
This part of the day was especially useful for portraits. The trees provided shape and privacy, the ocean appeared softly between the branches, and Tina’s veil caught the breeze as they walked together. We also completed wedding-party photographs here, with the bridesmaids in varied sage dresses and the groomsmen in blue suits. It gave everyone time to relax together without taking Tina and Steve away from their reception later.
An Oceanfront Ceremony Beneath the Sea-Grape Trees
The ceremony took place on the resort’s beachfront sand as the late-afternoon light moved through the trees. White chairs lined a simple aisle, and airy gold structures decorated with white flowers and greenery framed the water without hiding it. A violinist played as guests gathered and the wedding party made its way forward.
Tina walked down the aisle with a loved one, her long veil following behind her. Steve’s reaction, the smiles across the wedding party and the guests turning to watch her arrival created the kind of layered story that photographs and film capture differently. During the ceremony, Tina and Steve exchanged personal words and rings before celebrating their first kiss and walking back up the aisle together.
The setting felt unmistakably like Jupiter: sand underfoot, sea-grape branches overhead and the Atlantic visible just beyond the ceremony. It was elegant, but it never lost the easy coastal atmosphere that had been present since the morning.
Champagne and Portraits on the Boardwalk
After the ceremony, Tina and Steve had a few minutes to themselves along the wooden beach boardwalk. The palms were moving, the ocean was deep blue and they leaned into the energy of the evening by opening a bottle of champagne together.
Those photographs became some of the liveliest portraits in the gallery. They feel less like a formal portrait session and more like the two of them celebrating what had just happened. The boardwalk also placed them close to the water without asking them to cross open sand in wedding clothes, which kept this part of the timeline quick and relaxed.
A Warm Ballroom Reception with Live Music
Inside, the reception shifted from soft coastal colours to warm candlelight and amber uplighting. White flowers and greenery filled the tables, sage napkins continued the colour palette, and a custom greenery wall behind the sweetheart table gave the room a strong focal point. A simple white tiered cake and gold details kept the design clean and cohesive.
Tina and Steve entered the ballroom ready to celebrate and moved straight into their first dance. A full live band—with vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keys and saxophone—gave the evening its rhythm. Speeches brought a quieter pause before the cake cutting, and then the dance floor filled with family and friends.
The reception photographs are full of movement: guests singing, couples dancing, friends pulling one another into the centre of the floor and Tina and Steve enjoying the party rather than spending the evening posing for the camera. That balance is always the goal. The polished portraits matter, but so do the photographs that show exactly how the celebration felt once the formalities were over.
