Some venues feel like they were built for photographs. Ever After Farms Tropical Grove — a white barn set in a tropical fruit grove, with a ceremony lawn, a grove for portraits, and a reception hall dressed with chandeliers — gave Hailey & Marcel's day that feeling from start to finish. We photographed and filmed it as one coordinated photo and video team, so the couple could enjoy the day while we captured it naturally, without turning it into one long photoshoot.
Getting ready
The morning started with the bride and her bridesmaids laughing together indoors — Hailey in a white robe with her bridesmaids in sage-green and cream satin pajamas — while Marcel got ready nearby, first smiling in a black suit with a boutonniere in front of a wood wall, then adjusting his cuff in a dark teal suit with a blue tie, fairy lights behind him.
Before the ceremony
Before the ceremony, there was a quiet first-look-style moment in the reception hall: Hailey and Marcel standing back to back, holding hands, long tables and chandeliers behind them. Then Hailey alone in the hall, her long lace train spread on the wooden floor, chandeliers and set tables behind her.
The ceremony
The ceremony took place outdoors, guests seated on black benches with trees behind them. Hailey walked down the aisle with her white bouquet, escorted by a man in a dark suit, a white building behind her. At the floral arch, Hailey and Marcel faced each other with the officiant between them and bridesmaids in sage green to the side, and the recessional — newlyweds walking hand in hand down the aisle, Hailey laughing with her bouquet — closed the ceremony on a high.
Portraits
Portraits moved between the white barn doors and the grove: Hailey with a bridesmaid in sage green showing their rings, Marcel front and centre with six groomsmen in dark teal suits, a family portrait at the barn doors, and couple portraits in the trees — Hailey holding her bouquet while Marcel nuzzles her cheek, a close-up kiss with blurred trees behind, and a grove portrait with Marcel drinking from a champagne bottle while Hailey laughs with her bouquet.
The reception
The reception filled the hall with purple lights and a welcome sign. The first dance was the couple slow-dancing alone on an empty wooden dance floor, followed by the father-daughter dance, then speeches at the head table — a man speaking into a microphone while reading from a phone as the couple laughed, and a woman in sage green speaking while the couple sat at the head table, a "happily ever after" neon wall behind them. The night kept going with party dancing, and closed with a sparkler send-off — Hailey and Marcel exiting through guests holding sparklers, fairy lights in the doorway behind them.
The wedding film
Photographs freeze a moment; film brings the whole day back. Hailey & Marcel's wedding was filmed alongside the photography by the same coordinated team, so the vows, the first dance, the speeches, and the sparkler send-off are preserved in motion as well as in stills.
Planning a wedding at Ever After Farms Tropical Grove?
Our team has been a preferred vendor at the Ever After Farms venues for a long time, and we beat anyone's price. If you're planning your own wedding at Tropical Grove, that experience matters — we know the barn, the grove, the ceremony lawn, and how the light moves through them across the day, so nothing important gets missed while you're enjoying it. If you're wondering why couples book our team, that's the short version: one team, one vision, and a relaxed day that still gets photographed and filmed properly.
