Some venues let a wedding day unfold at its own pace, and The Ranch is one of them. Alyssa & Ian's day at Ever After Farms The Ranch in Indiantown moved from quiet getting-ready rooms to an outdoor ceremony, golden-hour portraits in a field, and a barn party that ran late into the night — all on one property, all without rushing. We photographed and filmed it as one coordinated photo and video team, so the couple could enjoy the day while we captured it naturally.
Getting ready
The morning started with the details — rings in a wooden box with a watch, earrings, and a white rose on a pale-blue surface, and the two wedding rings resting on a white-rose and eucalyptus bouquet. Ian got ready with his groomsmen in a wood-paneled room, pool table in the foreground, then alone in the reception barn adjusting his tie, set tables, gold chargers, string lights, and draping behind him. Alyssa's morning was just as warm: touching her hanging lace wedding dress in white pajamas, then laughing with three bridesmaids in sage-green pajamas, orange drinks in hand, in front of white barn doors.
First look
Before the ceremony, Alyssa and Ian shared a back-to-back first look — Ian holding a ring box, Alyssa in a long-sleeve lace dress with her back to camera, in front of a "Better Together" neon sign and white flower wall.
The ceremony
The ceremony took place outdoors, a bridesmaid in a sage-green dress walking the aisle path with a bouquet toward a white arbor. At the floral arbor, Alyssa — back to camera in her long-sleeve lace dress — held hands with Ian while the officiant held a book and the groomsmen stood behind them. The recessional closed it out: the newlyweds walking down the brick aisle holding hands, Alyssa holding her bouquet up, guests seated on either side.
Portraits and golden hour
After the ceremony came wedding-party portraits indoors, string lights and wooden doors behind a playful posed group — and then golden hour, which is where this venue really shows off. Alyssa and Ian embraced in a field, her long train spread out, fence, trees, and sun flare behind them; stood by a black fence at sunset, Alyssa holding her bouquet while Ian adjusted his jacket; and walked hand in hand on a gravel path.
The reception
The reception in the barn mixed speeches and dancing from the start: a man in a grey suit speaking into a microphone with the couple seated at the sweetheart table in front of the "Better Together" flower wall, a bridesmaid in a sage dress speaking while holding a phone, and the couple laughing together at the head table during the speeches. The groom also danced with a woman in a blue lace dress in the reception barn under string lights, and the night's party photos show guests dancing indoors under string lights and an antler chandelier, several in cowboy hats. The day closed with a send-off: Ian holding a car door open at night as Alyssa, in a voluminous white dress, stepped into a white car, guests and a lit house behind them.
The wedding film
Photographs freeze a moment; film brings the whole day back. Alyssa & Ian's wedding was filmed alongside the photography by the same coordinated team, so the vows, the speeches, the golden-hour portraits, and the send-off are preserved in motion as well as in stills.
Planning a wedding at Ever After Farms The Ranch?
Our team has been a preferred vendor at the Ever After Farms venues for a long time, and we beat anyone's price. If you're planning your own wedding at The Ranch, that experience matters — we know the barn, the ceremony site, the fields at golden hour, and how the night runs in the barn, so nothing important gets missed while you're enjoying it. If you're wondering why couples book our team, that's the short version: one team, one vision, and a relaxed day that still gets photographed and filmed properly.
