Some weddings feel like a party from the first frame to the last, and Ashton & Josh's day at Galuppi's in Pompano Beach was one of them. We photographed and filmed it as one coordinated photo and video team, so the couple could enjoy the day while we captured it naturally, without turning it into one long photoshoot.

Getting ready
The morning started with the small, warm moments: a woman in a blue dress pinning the groom's boutonniere as he smiled, and Ashton in her gown and veil, smiling while a woman in an orange floral dress adjusted the veil behind her. Bridesmaids in yellow were part of the getting-ready energy from the start.
The ceremony
The ceremony took place outdoors, guests seated as the wedding party processed in. Ashton walked down the aisle with her father, and at the altar the couple held hands facing the officiant, bridesmaids in yellow and groomsmen in tan suits on either side. There was a musical interlude — a woman singing while a man played guitar beside the altar — then the ring exchange, a prayer and blessing, and the recessional, the smiling couple walking back down the outdoor aisle together as guests applauded.
Wedding party and family
After the ceremony came playful indoor wedding-party shots — including the couple in a tug-of-war pose, bridesmaids in yellow and groomsmen in tan suits flanking them — and posed family and guest groups indoors.
First dance, parent dance, and speeches
The reception dances opened with the first dance — the groom twirling Ashton on the wooden reception dance floor, her hair and dress in motion, then the couple slow-dancing while seated guests watched and applauded — followed by a parent dance, Ashton embracing an older man in a pinstripe suit on the dance floor. Speeches followed at the head table, the groom speaking into a microphone while Ashton laughed beside him.
Portraits
Outdoor couple portraits took in the golf course and a wooden bridge: the groom kissing Ashton's temple as she laughed with her white bouquet, the couple embracing forehead to forehead on the grass, walking hand in hand on the golf course with Ashton in white sneakers, looking back over her shoulder, a dip for a kiss on the wooden bridge, the groom carrying the laughing bride across it, and the couple holding hands on the bridge, smiling at the camera.
The party and send-off
The party kept going into the evening — guests dancing in a room with large windows at dusk, then under evening lights with light trails, and cake, the groom holding a plate while Ashton ate cake with a fork. The night closed with a sparkler send-off: the couple walking through guests holding sparklers, then walking away hand in hand through a string-lit wooden arch at night.
The wedding film
Photographs freeze a moment; film brings the whole day back. Ashton & Josh's wedding was filmed alongside the photography by the same coordinated team, so the ceremony, the first dance, the speeches, and the sparkler send-off are preserved in motion as well as in stills.
