Madi and Chase’s wedding at Oceanic Pompano Beach brought together clean coastal styling, a relaxed atmosphere and a full dance floor. Soft blues appeared throughout the day, from the flowers and stationery to the bridesmaids’ dresses and Chase’s tie, while white florals kept everything light against the ocean views.
The celebration also felt unmistakably personal. Their two pugs joined the portraits in matching blue bow ties, Madi and Chase shared a private first look before the ceremony, and they made time for a champagne pop on the beach before returning to their guests. By the reception, the calm seaside mood had turned into a lively evening of family dances, cake and a packed dance floor.
I photographed and filmed the complete celebration, beginning with preparations at the nearby hotel and continuing through the final part of the reception.

Getting Ready Near Pompano Beach Pier
The wedding morning began at a nearby hotel, close to Oceanic and the beach. Keeping the preparations nearby made the transition into the afternoon simple and left enough time for photographs before everyone moved to the venue.
Madi got ready with her bridesmaids in a relaxed hotel room filled with plenty of natural light. The group opened champagne, helped with the finishing touches and wore coordinated pajamas in white, pale blue and navy.
Her wedding details continued the coastal palette: pale-blue ring boxes, delicate jewelry, blue-and-white flowers and playful “Wifey” and “Trophy Husband” socks.
Madi chose a clean, strapless gown with a fitted silhouette and a long veil. The simplicity of the dress suited the modern oceanfront setting and allowed the texture of her bouquet—white roses, pale-blue flowers, eucalyptus and trailing greenery—to stand out.
A pair of white sneakers was also waiting for later, an excellent decision for a celebration that moved from the hotel to the terrace, pier, beach and dance floor.
A Private First Look Before the Ceremony
Madi and Chase met outside the hotel for their first look. Chase wore a classic navy suit with a pale-blue tie and white-and-blue boutonniere, tying his outfit into the rest of the wedding without making everything feel overly matched.
Their first look was warm and unhurried. Madi approached from behind, Chase turned to see her, and the nerves quickly gave way to laughter.
Taking these photographs before the ceremony gave the two of them a few private minutes together. It also allowed us to complete many of the wedding-party and family portraits while the light was still bright.
That decision protected time later in the afternoon. After the ceremony, Madi and Chase could focus on portraits around the pier and beach without needing to fit every formal group photograph into a short cocktail hour.
Wedding-Party Portraits—and Two Very Important Pugs
The wedding party wore a polished mixture of navy suits and pale-blue dresses. We photographed the group outdoors near Pompano Beach and inside a teal-toned lounge whose curved seating and textured walls gave the portraits a distinctly coastal feel.
Two additional members of the group arrived wearing blue bow ties: Madi and Chase’s pugs.
The dogs joined the couple for portraits and immediately brought a more playful energy to the formal photographs. Including pets can require a little coordination, but setting aside one specific part of the timeline for them kept everything easy and resulted in some of the most personal images from the day.
The lounge also gave us a comfortable, shaded location for immediate-family photographs. It provided a useful contrast to the bright outdoor portraits and kept the gallery visually varied before the ceremony began.
An Ocean-View Ceremony at Oceanic
Guests gathered on Oceanic’s open-air terrace with the Atlantic and Pompano Beach Pier visible beyond the railing.
Rows of clear chairs faced a wooden triangular ceremony structure decorated with white flowers, pale-blue accents and greenery. The design framed the ocean view without competing with it.
Madi entered carrying her blue-and-white bouquet and walked down the aisle with a loved one. The late-afternoon light came across the terrace as she reached Chase, giving the ceremony a bright, airy quality while the ocean remained visible in every wide photograph.
Madi and Chase exchanged personal vows and rings in front of their families and friends. Their expressions moved easily between laughter and emotion, and the open terrace allowed us to photograph both the close reactions and the full setting.
After their first kiss, they walked back up the aisle through cheers and petals, finally able to relax into the rest of the celebration.
Portraits Around Pompano Beach Pier
After the ceremony, we used several nearby settings for Madi and Chase’s newlywed portraits.
The stairs and boardwalk created clean architectural lines, while the dunes, beach path and colorful lifeguard stands added the unmistakable character of Pompano Beach.
Madi’s long veil moved beautifully in the coastal breeze, giving the photographs a natural sense of movement without requiring elaborate poses.
On the sand, the couple walked, laughed and opened a bottle of champagne. Chase handled the pop while Madi held the glasses, turning a simple toast into one of the liveliest portrait sequences of the afternoon.
The variety available within a short walk is one of the strongest parts of an Oceanic wedding. During a relatively compact portrait session, we could create photographs featuring the pier, ocean, dunes, palms and modern venue architecture.
Madi and Chase could then return to the reception without losing a large part of the evening to traveling between photo locations.
A Blue-and-White Oceanfront Reception
Inside Oceanic, round tables were dressed in white linens with pale-blue details, silver chairs and low arrangements of white and blue flowers.
Floor-to-ceiling windows kept the ocean visible as guests found their seats, while hanging greenery and crystal details added texture overhead.
Madi and Chase entered the reception together and moved directly into their first dance. Their family dances followed, creating a warm opening to the evening before dinner and speeches.
The room felt elegant without becoming stiff. Guests could enjoy the formal parts of the reception while the coastline remained visible through the glass.
Their white tiered cake continued the restrained floral design and was surrounded by white and blue arrangements. After cutting it together, the couple shifted the focus fully to the dance floor.
Bubbles, colorful party props and a late-night snack service kept the celebration moving as friends and relatives filled the floor around them.
The final photographs feel completely different from the quiet images that opened the day—and that is exactly what makes the gallery work. It begins with soft hotel light and carefully arranged details, opens into bright ocean views and finishes with flash, movement and a room full of people enjoying themselves.
Oceanic Pompano Beach Wedding Photography and Videography
Madi and Chase’s wedding is a good example of why coordinated photography and film coverage can be valuable during a celebration with several locations and transitions.
Their day moved through hotel preparations, outdoor portraits, an ocean-view ceremony, the beach and an indoor reception. Working as one team allowed us to follow the complete story while keeping the timeline comfortable for the couple.
